ان جذور المصممين في هذا الطراز لقد اسسو مدرسة الباهاوس للتصميم في المانيا 1919 . و يتركز هذا الطراز على عدم الافراط في الاكسسوارات , و ذلك عكس بعض الطرز الاخرى .

و يفضل في هذا الطراز اضافة العديد من الالوان في التصميم لاعطاء شعور حميم و جميل .

لقد تأثر هذا النمط باليونانيين و الغريقيين بشكل كبير في تصميم الاثاث , و تميز بالزخرفة و الرسم .

و يستخدم في الارضية بعض المواد الطبيعية مثل الرخام او الحجر و غيرها , اما بالنسبة الى الاقمشة فيستعمل بها المخمل او القطن لتحقيق الاناقة في التصميم .

و يمكننا ايضا وضع نقطة تركيز مثل الموقد , و يتم تصميمه بالشكل الزخرف و الحفر .
