2. Nature of the Platform

DarPedia is a digital platform that allows Users to display projects, browse and classify project information, publish marketplace listings, search for Professionals, Suppliers, Contractors and writing-related service providers, post opportunities, exchange information, and communicate with other Users.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement signed by DarPedia, DarPedia is not a contractor, supplier, developer, professional adviser, consultant, employer, recruitment agency, academic institution, engineering office, design office, construction supervisor, escrow agent, payment institution, insurer, or guarantor.

DarPedia does not perform construction works, provide professional advice, supply materials, verify all information posted by Users, guarantee project outcomes, guarantee the quality or legality of User services, or supervise the performance of any User-to-User contract. Any agreement entered into between Users is solely between those Users.

3. Eligibility and Use by Minors

You may use the Platform only if you are legally capable of entering into binding obligations under applicable law. The Platform's marketplace, project-posting, bidding, contracting, payment, professional-listing, supplier-listing, contractor-listing, and essay-writing features are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

A person under 18 may not create an account, post projects, purchase services, sell services, upload personal data, communicate with service providers, or use marketplace features unless DarPedia has expressly permitted such use and the person's parent or legal guardian has provided valid consent where required by applicable law.

DarPedia may suspend or delete any account where it reasonably believes that the user is underage, has misrepresented their age, or is using the Platform without the required guardian consent.

4. Account Registration and Security

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to update it when necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. You must notify DarPedia immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. You may not transfer or assign your account to any other person without the prior written consent of DarPedia.

DarPedia may require account verification, including identity, email, phone, business registration, professional licence, tax, portfolio, or other verification. Verification does not mean that DarPedia guarantees the User, their qualifications, their work, or their compliance with applicable law. Users must not misrepresent their identity, qualifications, or business status.

5. User Categories and Specific Responsibilities

Professionals, Contractors and Suppliers must ensure that all information in their profiles, listings, bids, qualifications, licences, registrations, experience, portfolios, photographs, prices, delivery timelines, warranties, and service descriptions is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

Professionals and Contractors are solely responsible for holding and maintaining all licences, permits, professional approvals, insurance, registrations, tax registrations, labour permissions, safety approvals, municipality approvals, professional association approvals (including registration with the Jordan Engineers Association where applicable), and other authorisations required for their activities. DarPedia does not verify the validity of any such licence, permit, or registration.

Suppliers are solely responsible for the quality, legality, safety, origin, specifications, warranties, labelling, delivery, installation, after-sale service, Intellectual Property Rights compliance, and regulatory compliance of the goods they list or supply. Homeowners and Developers are responsible for ensuring that project descriptions, site information, budgets, deadlines, drawings, documents, permits, ownership details, and instructions they post are accurate and that they have the right to share them.

6. Project Listings, Marketplace and User-to-User Transactions

Users may post projects, requests for proposals, requests for quotation, service requirements, supplier requirements, academic support requests, or similar opportunities through the Platform.

DarPedia may sort, classify, tag, display, promote, recommend, rank, filter, or moderate projects and listings. Such sorting, classification, ranking, or recommendation is for platform functionality only and does not constitute endorsement, professional advice, legal advice, engineering advice, investment advice, or a guarantee.

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any transaction, including checking qualifications, licences, previous work, references, prices, technical specifications, warranties, delivery arrangements, contract terms, permits, insurance, tax treatment, and legal compliance. DarPedia may provide templates, suggested forms, guides, or informational materials for convenience only — not as legal, engineering, architectural, technical, tax, investment, academic, or professional advice.

7. Fees, Payments and Commission

DarPedia may charge fees for account subscriptions, featured listings, leads, commissions, promoted content, project posting, transaction facilitation, advertising, verification, premium access, or other services. Applicable fees, payment terms, refund rules, taxes, commissions, and billing cycles will be displayed on the Platform or agreed separately in writing.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, DarPedia does not hold funds as escrow, does not guarantee payment by one User to another, and does not guarantee delivery of goods, works, services, or deliverables by any User. DarPedia may use third-party payment processors, and your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy notices.

Cancellations, returns, and refunds in respect of DarPedia's own direct services, product sales, and subscription plans are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. No Guarantees

DarPedia does not guarantee: (A) that any project will be awarded; (B) that any lead will convert into work; (C) that any Professional, Supplier, Contractor or Essay Writer will be suitable, licensed, available, qualified, insured, solvent, or compliant; (D) that any Client will pay, proceed, or enter into a contract; (E) that any User Content is accurate, complete, lawful, original, or up to date; (F) that any construction, design, academic, commercial, technical, or supply outcome will be achieved; (G) that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Any ratings, reviews, badges, verification marks, recommendations, featured placements, or search rankings are platform tools only and should not be relied on as a guarantee of quality, legal compliance, solvency, or fitness for purpose.

9. No Reliance on Platform Information

The Platform may contain information about construction, design, renovation, suppliers, contractors, professional services, academic support, market prices, project planning, materials, legal requirements, technical requirements, permits, and other matters. Such information is for general informational purposes only.

You must not rely on it as a substitute for specific advice from a qualified and licensed professional. Before acting on any information found on the Platform, you must independently verify it and obtain appropriate professional advice. DarPedia is not responsible for any loss arising from reliance on Platform content, User Content, marketplace listings, price estimates, project descriptions, guides, templates, calculators, reviews, ratings, or communications between Users.

10. User Content and Intellectual Property Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload, post, submit, transmit, display, or make available through the Platform. By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that: (A) you own the User Content or have all licences, consents, permissions, and rights required to upload and use it; (B) the User Content does not infringe any Intellectual Property Rights, privacy right, confidentiality obligation, contractual obligation, academic policy, or other third-party right; (C) the User Content is lawful, accurate, and not misleading; (D) the User Content does not contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, pornographic, exploitative, fraudulent, threatening, violent, or otherwise prohibited material.

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by uploading User Content to the Platform, you grant DarPedia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, solely for the purposes of operating, displaying, improving, and promoting the Platform — including hosting, reproducing, distributing, adapting, formatting, translating, indexing, classifying, making searchable, and transmitting such content. This licence does not permit DarPedia to sell or commercially exploit your User Content for purposes unrelated to operating the Platform.

DarPedia may remove, disable access to, restrict, or refuse to publish any User Content at any time if DarPedia believes that such content may breach these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, academic-integrity rules, confidentiality obligations, or platform standards.

11. Academic Content, Students and Essay Writers

DarPedia may allow Users to offer or request lawful writing assistance, editing, tutoring, research-guidance, translation, proofreading, formatting, citation-support, study-support, or similar services. DarPedia does not facilitate, condone, or permit academic misconduct in any form.

Users must not request, provide, sell, purchase, upload, submit, or deliver content intended to be submitted by a student as their own work in breach of any school, university, institution, examination body, scholarship provider, employer, or academic-integrity policy. Users who offer or request such content are in breach of these Terms and may be suspended or removed from the Platform.

DarPedia shall not be responsible for any stolen, copied, plagiarised, unauthorised, infringing, or unlawfully used content uploaded, posted, offered, sold, purchased, downloaded, submitted, reused, or otherwise made available by any User. The User who uploads, provides, sells, purchases, submits, or uses such content remains solely responsible for that content and for any resulting academic, legal, disciplinary, financial, or reputational consequences.

12. Intellectual Property

All Intellectual Property Rights in the Platform, including the DarPedia name, logo, branding, interface, software, source code, object code, databases, platform architecture, workflows, classification systems, designs, graphics, text, icons, features, and original content created by DarPedia are owned by DarPedia or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, sell, lease, sublicence, distribute, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of the Platform except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Each User remains solely responsible for any intellectual property rights relating to any content, material, project, design, drawing, photograph, render, video, text, article, essay, sample, listing, logo, trademark, trade name, business information, quotation, document, or other material uploaded, posted, submitted, displayed, transmitted, sold, purchased, shared, downloaded, or otherwise made available by that User through or as a result of the Platform.

DarPedia does not verify, investigate, confirm, warrant, or guarantee the ownership, authorship, originality, validity, registrability, non-infringing nature, licensing status, or lawful use of any User Content or any intellectual property rights claimed by Users. Each User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DarPedia from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to any actual or alleged infringement or misuse of Intellectual Property Rights by that User or through that User's Content.

13. Non-Circumvention and Non-Disclosure

Where DarPedia has facilitated an Introduction between two or more Users or between a User and a third party, each such User agrees for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of that Introduction not to: (A) contact, negotiate with, or enter into any agreement, transaction, or arrangement with the introduced party through any channel other than through the Platform or with the prior written consent of DarPedia; or (B) use any information, Data, contact details, business intelligence, or documentation received through or in connection with an Introduction to identify, contact, or transact with the introduced party in a manner that circumvents, bypasses, or avoids DarPedia.

Any Facilitated Deal concluded in breach of this policy shall remain subject to the commission agreed with DarPedia. In addition to that commission, DarPedia shall be entitled to recover damages for any loss suffered as a result of the circumvention, including legal costs.

Each User agrees to maintain in strict confidence all Confidential Information received through or in connection with an Introduction or the Platform, and not to disclose such information to any third party without prior written consent. The confidentiality and non-circumvention obligations in this Section shall survive the termination or expiry of these Terms for a period of three (3) years. This Section does not restrict a User from dealing with a person with whom the User had an established and documented pre-existing relationship prior to any Introduction by DarPedia, provided that such prior relationship is disclosed to DarPedia in writing within fourteen (14) days of the Introduction.

14. Confidentiality

You must not upload, disclose, share, or transmit Confidential Information through the Platform unless you have the legal right to do so. Any project, drawing, document, quotation, message, bid, business information, personal data, technical information, commercial information, Confidential Information, trade secret, or other sensitive material shared by Users through the Platform is the sole responsibility of those Users.

DarPedia is not a party to any confidentiality arrangement between Users unless it expressly agrees in writing. Users who require confidentiality should enter into a separate non-disclosure agreement before sharing sensitive materials.

DarPedia may access, review, preserve, disclose, share, transfer, restrict, suspend, or remove User Content where DarPedia considers such action necessary to operate the Platform, enforce these Terms, comply with applicable law, respond to complaints, protect rights, prevent fraud, protect the safety and security of Users and the Platform, or investigate suspected unlawful conduct. DarPedia may disclose User information to courts, regulators, governmental authorities, or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by applicable law.

15. Privacy, Data Protection and Data Processing

DarPedia will process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and should be read alongside these Terms.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that DarPedia may collect and process personal data including account information, contact details, identity information, business information, project information, communication data, payment-related information, device data, usage data, cookie data, location-related data, and any personal data included in User Content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

A Force Majeure Event does not excuse a party's obligation to pay fees, commissions, or other sums that have already accrued and become due and payable before the Force Majeure Event occurred. If a Force Majeure Event continues for a period of sixty (60) consecutive days, either party may terminate the affected part of the arrangement on written notice to the other, without liability for such termination.

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without DarPedia's prior written consent. DarPedia may assign or transfer its rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, corporate reorganisation, or operation of law. No partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, or fiduciary relationship is created between you and DarPedia by virtue of your use of the Platform or these Terms.
